Angels Afoot is a family labor of love.

We live on 11 acres of beautiful land with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, our Golden Retriever, our Australian Shepard, a variety of cats, our young son, and our other 5 grown children (and even a sprinkling of grandchildren!), with whom we still count our blessings to be lucky enough to spend time with during vacations from their own careers! We always have someone a-foot here and to us, each and every one is a gift and an Earth Angel.

We often find ourselves with animals that just 'appear' (they are called 'drop-offs' in this area) and rescues, and an assortment of other dogs and cats in need of assistance or interim care. There is a joke that the animals have posted a sign on a local highway that says, “GO THAT-A-WAY... to that BLUE HOUSE up the road – THEY take in ANYONE!” That's okay. We get infinitely more out of caring for the animals than the animals could ever possibly get from us.

Our Cavaliers and the other animals are nothing short of loved ones... They are our FAMILY.

Though we love our Cavaliers madly, we approach their care completely professionally.

We are healthcare professionals who love what we do; we don't know any other way, other than how to take care of our loved ones in a thorough, healthful, yet compassionate, way.

It is ONLY the BEST for our loved ones. . . and, ONLY the BEST for our CAVALIERS.

Occasionally we have Angels to share, but we do not sell to stores or to puppy mills.
